I think it's when within the ring. For they within final ring, when it starts countdown to final close, no more bonus shield because no more extra safe ring. Crypto Buff: I hope they at least slightly improved the drone's handling since they replaced the handling buff perk. It actually was a good perk. I will like that cloak though. 4:30 Recharge isn't dealing with health, it's dealing with the amount of shields it can recharge. It's health Doesn't restore with that perk. Shoot the pylon, you'll see it doesn't drop that bar. Use up all that bar and the pylon hasn't taken any damage, shoot it to death and you'll see it was at Max health. Charge meter and pylon health are two separate things. 5:00 gonna love that. Although I still foresee idiots punching my traps as I place them in mixtape. People in mixtape often are jerks. Because I can't shoot, so keep them up instead of trying to shoot. That's how I work. NC, Life, Gibby, Mirage, etc, if going revives. Crypto if going respawn master. 12 in one life is my record. 18 in one match. Quads definitely bolstered that number. In trios as a duo, 6 respawn beacons in one life on Olympus, starting at lifeline's hut, mid match at 3 towers, ending around the two phase portal entrances. Used a few mobiles and ALL the land based ones. That was a fun match, sad, but fun. My poor ally got triod every time he spawned in. He couldn't even hit the ground. Every single time. At least I was a drone, instantly grabbing banner and recalling after banner claim to respawn him yet again. He was Fuse. We were laughing so hard that entire match. I think we did have a wraith who quit immediately after dying. Season 17-18 I think. It was a long time ago. Definitely a couple seasons after season 14, because that's when I began. That memory is burned into my mind. I sat in that one spot and use SOOO many respawns. We made it to final 2 squads. Final squad held the portals and I needed more range to hit the final respawn, they heard me, I died before I could bring him back one last time. 30 damage to my shooters. Yeah, I'm that bad a shot. 2 years and no improvement. Don't know if it's me, my small screen (16" I think), or my pathetic ISP. Bro plays console and can actually hit stuff. My one time playing console I actually managed to deal an average of 600 per match, and at one point sniped someone I couldn't see while I was using irons on a sentinel, didn't crack shield, I posted that vid too, it's recent. I was heavily confused and said on stream "How'd I make that hit" - or something along those lines. I don't stream to stream. I do it to record my matches. Can only stream from console, PC hates streaming, but streamlabs does have a recording feature which works well. Takes 3 hours to upload a 30 minute video though. Centurylink... Anyways... Where was I? I am best with banners and respawn beacons. They better keep that, at least for the final rings where auto respawn no longer operates. I'd still prefer to have banners and beacons at all times to speed up the time before they respawn. That way, say it takes 45 seconds, I can grab all banners in a few seconds and then tap a beacon, 5-10 seconds and they are already respawning. Better than 45. Please leave me my banners and beacons. Please devs, please.

May as well call this game Apex Noobs, the Legend aspect disappearing every season. Buff scans and loot for all players making it too easy, adding huge buffs to shields and scans, changing entire meta ttk for gun play with dual pistols which everybody will want to use and still not one Legend to combat the meta with all the scanning to chase around rats. Bangalore was the only chance of disrupting this kind of meta with smoke, her kit is the weakest it's ever been it's all over the internet you don't have to look very far and now it's worse with more information than ever on you when shot once. Stop buffing and removing the skill elements, it's a whole other game now that nobody asked for, we've been asking for things for a long time with no communication. What's the point of building a game and breaking it down again while the players still play it? Very frustrating experience. Hard to remain positive, especially when you loved what really matters from early Respawn developers, an update like this won't save the numbers, just attract more kids with time to waste and push away the pros. Smh
